Might be a bit angsty at times? I still like it. The captains pop up a lot though, and they are well written and amusing. Story is very centric on Ichigo, and has an OC as its next most important character although I found her sort of likeable. A lot of Bleach time travel fics draw inspiration from this story - Ichigo is sent back in time to ~ 5 years before the Hollowfication incident, and is found and adopted by the Shiba clan. Putting that aside, this fic, like all her works, is very well written. Her last Bleach related update was in 2014. The following warning must be given about this author she writes very good stores but rarely finishes them. One or two elements are now technically AU due to reveals since its rewrite started. As the fic progresses OCs are introduced, but most are well written. I like this story as I think its well written, with good characterisation. The five of them start putting together a plan to expose Aizen early and make a better future. A brief summary would be that the Winter War with Aizen goes worse than canon, and that at the very end Ichigo, Uruhara, Yoruichi, Isshin, and Ichigo's hollow which has been given its own body are all sent back in time to ~ 100 years before Turn Back the Pendulum.
There is an older version available on which gets further in the plot, but this is version is more detailed and better written imo. This fic is a wip, and the author updates maybe a few times a year. If a story isn't complete I will mention it along with my rough estimate of the authors update schedule. This post may be long, and contains a wide variety of fics, but no stories just about shipping (if you want those I can recommend a few).
